Reports To: Plant Manager


Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of wood product manufacturing, including raw material procurement, production planning and scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
Work with engineering to develop new products and improve existing processes.
Work with sales to ensure that production meets customer demand.
Manage a team of production staff and ensure that they are properly trained and motivated.
Monitor production costs and make recommendations for improvement.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in wood science, engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in wood product manufacturing.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
