Position: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Jeddah, ksa

Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a background in maintenance and a passion for industrial processes? We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team at the Rockwool Factory as a Mechanical Engineer. If you have 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and a strong desire to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance and inspection of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functioning and prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, utilizing your technical expertise to provide effective solutions.
- Participate in the planning and execution of preventative maintenance schedules to minimize operational disruptions.
- Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability when needed, while also optimizing costs.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of machinery as required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of mechanical processes, suggesting and implementing enhancements for increased efficiency and safety.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications for future reference and analysis.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, conveyors, motors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with Rockwool manufacturing processes is a definite plus.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards maintenance challenges.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical information clearly.
- Detail-oriented approach to document maintenance activities accurately.
