Description

Perform risk assessments for the site activities undertaken by the technicians or for the company facilities – accommodations, offices etc.
Be familiar with work method statements and ensure work is being carried out accordingly.
Capable of training workers on safe system of work for various activities.
Promote a safe and healthy working environment through promoting core Mitsubishi values.
Participate in pre-task briefings / toolbox talks (TBT) and ensure supervisors / foremen conduct them on daily basis.
Capable of carrying out the safety inspection for Mitsubishi plant, equipment and the vehicles.
Conduct regular and periodic inspections of fire safety equipment such as portable fire extinguishers (PFE), fire hose reels, fire alarms etc.
Vigilant in identifying safety violations that pose imminent threat to worker’s safety and capable of taking immediate action by exercising stop work authority when required.
Be knowledgeable of emergency response procedures / plans.
Well-versed with Safety audits and capable of advising/guiding the management on closing out the audit observations or non-conformances.
Inspect welfare facilities, workers accommodations and office building in line with the legal and client requirements.
Ensure all Mitsubishi equipment, accessories & vehicles are tested, certified, registered and regularly inspected.

Ensure workers’ compliance with PPE and other safety requirements.
Well-conversant with Incident / Accident investigation techniques.
Professional in responding to and handling of different types of emergency situations.
Coaching / training workers on incident notification, investigation and reporting procedure.
Preparing incident/accident reports including for near-miss incidents.
Recommend sustainable solutions to the recurring HSE issues on the projects/sites.


Minimum of 5 years of Safety experience in the construction/engineering industry.
Transferable Iqama
Driving License
