Our Hotel is hiring for an AC technician. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.
Responsibilities for AC technician
• Where required, install new equipment related to refrigeration and air conditioning
• Carries out routine checks and logs of the status of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment/plant
• Requisitions for materials required for smooth operation of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment/plant
• Assists in the verification of refrigeration and air conditioning spares purchased/supplied
• Perform other reasonable job/duties as requested by the Chief Engineer
• Ensures that the standards of service excellence and guest satisfaction are met and maintained
• Plant and system upgrade participation Plant and system upgrades are performed in accordance with project plan
• Plant/equipment maintenance
• Technical Support /Trouble shooting - Problems resolved within agreed times (SLA)
• Quality control / operations - Compliance to all departmental standards, processes and legislative prescripts

Qualifications for AC technician
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in maintaining Air Conditioners, Chillers and refrigeration equipment
• 2 years full time Diploma/Trade Certificate in Air Conditioning
• 4 years of experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a luxury hotel
• Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, ability to use hand/electric cart, ability to use power and hand tools, requires crouching and/or crawling, and ability to use a ladder
