Description

Maintaining ITC Infrastructure (Systems and Networks).Responsible for the smooth running of computer systems and ensuring users get maximum benefits.

The IT officer role, located in Head Office, for the maintenance, enhancement and efficient operation of IT functions. Additionally, the role includes responsibility for ensuring the cyber security and integrity of computer operations and systems development in accordance with PACIFIC strategic plan, IT plan and regulatory responsibilities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Maintaining ITC Infrastructure (Systems and Network), identifying IT related problems, resolving them and keeping systems operational.
Attending the user calls (Help Desk support), Communicating status, progress, and resolution and recovery of incidence.
Installing and configure Computer systems and software.
Updating of Anti-Virus for all Users and resolve virus related issues.
To maintain the Hardware and Software Inventory for the plant.
To attend the tasks assigned by the management.
Co-ordination with suppliers for warranty, repair/replacement of parts and pending work.
Prepare weekly report, inventory report and send it to Supervisor.
Ensure proper disposal of IT wastes (Cartridges, toners, batteries, electronic waste etc.)

Perform other duties as assigned.
