PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop specific safety objectives and create actions plans to meet those objectives
Maintain, review and report safety performance, identifying opportunities for improvement along with implementing preventative and corrective actions as required
Identifying changes in activities, products and services that may create new QHSE Risks or invalidate previously identified risks, aspects and hazards an ongoing basis.
Ensuring the contractor and his personnel working inside company are aware and abide to organizations IMS requirements.
Formulating methods to respond to, mitigate and prevent emergencies, testing them and communication to authorities as per organizations procedure.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHA Certification
University graduate/ BSc/BA in safety management, engineering or relevant field is preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience as safety officer
In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g., OSHA/EPA) and procedures
Very good knowledge of ISO process and procedures
Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
Excellent written and Communication skills
Good knowledge in MS- Office.
