An operations manager is needed for a logistics company in Riyadh.


Job Description

Optimize day-to-day operations i.e. continuous improvement in daily operations for achieving maximum efficiency and growth.

Problem solving and critical thinking so that issues can be identified and resolved ahead of time.

Manage the operations team and build strong reporting relationships to ensure operational efficiency.

Segregate and take quick decisions on Idle, revenue generating and non-revenue generating employees.

Monitor employee performance and ensure that they are meeting their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Prepare Weekly and monthly reports of performance analysis for management.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and relevant authorities so as and when issues arise they can be resolved as soon as possible. (for example: attendance discrepancies, OT issues)

Analyze financial data pertaining to business operations to identify areas for improvement.

Monitor key financial metrics and make recommendations to create operational excellence.

Monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure that the company is meeting its financial targets as per budgeted guidelines.

Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that ensure the company meets its business objectives and quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a manpower company.
Ms-Excel proficiency is a Must.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using technology and software applications to manage operations.
Knowledge of Saudi Labor laws and regulations.
