Description

Key Responsibilities –

- Ensuring compliance with Internal policies, guidelines, credit policy and Delegation of Power
- Ensuring statutory compliance like VAT, Zakat, Corporate Tax, Transfer pricing, Withholding Tax and other local laws in coordination with consultants
- Coordinating with the statutory auditors during interim and final year-end audit
- Managing relationship with internal customers and externally with Banks, Insurance companies, Suppliers, and vendors.
- Manage the company risks by securing appropriate insurance covers.
- Ensuring accounting hygiene through regular ledger review.
- Timely and accurate financial reporting on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for all the Business Units and overall, for the company.
- Supporting senior stakeholders in all business reviews
- Formulate annual budget, financial planning as per the corporate budget guidelines
- Ensuring timely monthly payroll payments and ensure timely disbursal
- Working capital management, credit control, Fund management and cash flow projections
- Maintaining books of account as per IFRS and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Ensuring data integrity and accuracy in systems.
- Monitoring the receivables follow up done by the team members and ensuring prompt collection. Ensuring that the accounts payables are settled within the time and before the due date, including approving payments
- Having good understanding of Import/export documents and different payment terms

Knowledge and skill Requirements:

- Professional Qualification - BCom / Similar qualification .
- Obtained SOCPA Certificate.
- ERP knowledge (preferably Orion & Oracle NetSuite)
- Ability to operate effectively with people at all business levels.
- Excellent Arabic knowledge with reading, writing, and speaking skills – MUST
- Preference experience in the FMCG, Distribution, Retails
