PLANNING ENGINEER
Purpose of the job
Provide control and coordination of all planning, scheduling and execution activities related to Routine Maintenance / Turn around maintenance for all the operational areas, including Preventive, Corrective, and Predictive Maintenance..
Essential duties
• Lead planning section by providing technical information and solutions.
• Prepare long-term maintenance plan.
• Monitor and collect data from system for review of management.
• Provide solutions for optimization of resources.
• Provide Inputs for preparation of maintenance budget of all plants.
• Review actual v/s budgeted expenditure of shutdown and recommend necessary action to minimize deviations.
• Prepare monthly and weekly reports highlighting work plans, major activity completed and attend regular client meetings.
• Monitor Maintenance planning section KPI's against target.
• Review and present manpower planning
• Follow up with client operations, services, and maintenance dept. for planning related issues.
Requirements / qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and higher education in a technical discipline
• Minimum 12 years' experience
• Previous experience in the Maintenance Planning and scheduling of Fertilizer Plants is mandatory. Preferably PAP (Phosphoric Acid Plant)
• Familiarity with Planning practices and the associated in Microsoft Projects is compulsory.
