Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conveyor Belt Maintenance Team Leader to join our team. In this role, you will lead and supervise a team of technicians responsible for a range of conveyor maintenance tasks, including splicing, joining, alignment, and other related operations. Your expertise in conveyor belt systems and maintenance will be essential in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of technicians responsible for various conveyor maintenance tasks, including splicing, joining, alignment, and more.
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of conveyor systems to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and replacement of conveyor belts, components, and associated equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards during maintenance operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize conveyor system performance and address operational challenges.
- Train and mentor team members, ensuring their continuous development and growth.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and equipment needed for maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant, trade qualifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in conveyor belt maintenance, including splicing, joining, alignment, and related tasks.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
- Excellent understanding of conveyor systems, components, and associated maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to conveyor operations.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address maintenance challenges effectively.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
