Description

Take part in preparing action plans and programs associated with civil engineering works, and directly supervise the preparation of operational plans related to civil engineering works including preparing civil engineering designs, cost estimates, BOQs, and engineering feasibility studies, in line with the approved procedural and technical policies and manuals.

Main Tasks:
• Take part in preparing action plans and programs associated with civil engineering works, including preparing necessary designs, drawings, sketches, outlines, reports, and estimates, and the follow-up of workflow, besides ensuring the full adherence to approved technical policies and procedures.
• Supervise all day-to-day processes of civil engineering, including executing projects, evaluating engineering feasibility studies, preparing reports, and providing recommendations on the feasibility of costs and projects.
• Ensure active coordination with all concerned bodies, manage shared initiatives, efforts, and projects, and continually contact contractors; with a view to following and auditing associated works, and ensuring their compliance with approved specifications and outlines.
• Supervise preparing research and studies related to various systems and processes of civil engineering, inclusive of soil, foundations, constructions, roads, bridges, water, and drainage, and provide recommendations and proposed solutions to challenges and problems confronting the workflow.
• Follow and evaluate the performance of subordinates, ensure the availability of all resources, materials, and techniques required for carrying out specialized works and activities, and assure subordinates’ familiarity with the recent methods, updates, and practices in civil engineering.
