We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial records and ensuring accurate reporting.

Job Title: Accountant
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.

Prepare and review financial statements, monthly reports, and other financial documents.

Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.

Provide support during tax audits and respond to tax-related inquiries from authorities.

Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the organization.

Internal Controls and Audit:

Experience with accounting software and data entry

Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Advanced knowledge and experience of spreadsheets

Ability to work independently

Analytical skills


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications.

Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.

Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals

Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, local financial regulations, and tax laws in Saudi Arabia.

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
