Job Summary
The System Administrator is responsible for managing Implementation and support of company Systems such as, Operating systems (All platforms), SharePoint, MS Exchange, and hardware supporting these systems.



Major Duties and Responsibilities
► Assists IT infrastructure manager in defining systems standards.
► Assists in the formulation of the systems services delivery procedures and guidelines.
► Develops and formulates project plans for system projects implementation.
► Installs, Configures, and implements Server, desktop, and laptop Operating Systems.
► Implements Systems services security access and user profile design.
► Executes periodical health checks on all systems.
► Executes daily operational schedules and management tasks for Systems Services.
► Provide and manage user access to servers, active directory and other resources/applications based on approved requests.
► Ensures production servers are under strict control with no unauthorized changes being made.
► Complies with all defined processes and procedures to maintain all the servers
► Applies all approved OS patches in time.
► Monitors all servers on a daily basis and ensures there are no alarms/alerts in the servers.
► Raises tickets in the Helpdesk system for all identified issues and ensures they are resolved.
► Provides 2nd level support on technical incidents related to Systems Services including Exchange, AD, SharePoint, etc...
► Keeps abreast of international trends in Systems Services designs methods and technologies. Continuously review and evaluate the existing designs within Company to assess current capability to introduce potential improvements to their systems services.

Qualifications
A minimum of:
► Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
► Strong Knowledge of all widely-used operating systems (Windows, Apple OSX, UNIX, and Linux) including installation, configuration, upgrade, maintenance and performance tuning.
► Knowledge of software patching, installation, testing and troubleshooting operating systems.
► Knowledge of system and workstation installation and configuration procedures and tools, software compatibility issues and resolution procedures.
► Proficiency in MS Office applications.
► Proficiency in both English and Arabic Language.
