Description

We are representing a well-established company in Riyadh with a workforce of 10-20 employees engaged in various business activities, including distribution, Projects & Ecommerce focused on Physical Security, Smart Homes & IOT.

Currently, we are seeking a highly qualified Senior Accountant with 4-6 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years spent working in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting activities, including invoicing, sales returns, and processing credit notes for returns, promotional sales support, and marketing support.
- Maintain accurate records of credit notes issued to customers and receivable credits from vendors for the same transactions.
- Handle all receivables and payables from customers and vendors.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain journal records.
- Record and manage trial balance entries, including accruals, depreciation, prepayments, etc., on a timely basis.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of GL, AR, AP, and Costing functions.
- Generate financial reports and statements for management reporting.
- Analyze financial discrepancies and propose effective solutions.
- Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues, and prepare variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget, Actual vs. Prior Year).
- Assist in budget preparation, internal controls, cost control measures, and expense management.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation and schedules.
- Ensure accurate and timely tax compliance, including payment and filing of tax returns.
- Adhere to the company's policies and controls related to financial reporting.
- Stay updated with Corporate Laws, local regulations, and statutory requirements, ensuring compliance.
- Complete monthly and year-end closing and financial reports in a precise and timely manner, meeting both statutory and global deadlines.
- Maintain records of financial transactions in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and local regulations.
- Sound Knowledge of Zoho accounting software would be an added benefit
