MAJOR TASKS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -
Maintenance coordinators are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a building’s maintenance department. They commonly work with contractors, vendors, and other outside parties to ensure that all equipment and systems are functioning properly.

Responsibilities
• Communicate directly with service providers, vendors, and maintenance contractors to schedule repairs, servicing, preventive maintenance, and other projects required to keep the company’s physical assets running smoothly.
• Monitor usage of tools and equipment and ensure tools are readily available for assigned tasks.
• Assign tasks to workers, coordinate them, and ensure completion of work.
• Monitor safety and health compliance.
• Delegating maintenance tasks to the rest of the team and finding relevant vendors and service providers.
• Developing maintenance plans and implementing them.
• Ensuring quality control standards are consistently met.
• Keeping track of supply and material inventories.
• Purchasing any equipment, tools, or materials that may be required.

Maintenance Coordinator Requirements:
• High school diploma.
• Relevant licenses and certificates may be required.
• Courses in mechanical drawing, woodworking, electricity, and blueprint reading, would be advantageous.
• Repair work experience.
• Physical strength and good hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
• Leadership experience recommended.
• Proficiency in Excel.
