Job Title: Construction Manager Job Summary:
As a Construction Manager at National Blue Company, you will take on a significant role in owning medium-sized projects while working independently or under the guidance of a Project Manager. Your responsibilities will encompass project ownership, cost and project control, ensuring timely delivery, proper resource utilization and providing technical support to the project team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Ownership: Assume overall ownership of medium-sized projects, leading them from initiation to successful completion, ensuring adherence to project objectives.
2. Cost and Project Control: Implement effective cost control measures, closely monitor project expenses, and uphold the approved budget to optimize financial resources.
3. Timely Delivery: Oversee project schedules, establish milestones, and collaborate with the project team to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
4. Technical Support: Provide expert technical guidance and support to the project team, resolving challenges promptly, and upholding stringent quality standards.
5. Team Management: Lead and manage a diverse team along with cross-functional collaboration
6. Safety Standards: responsibility for maintaining and enforcing strict safety standards across all project activities.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in successfully executing civil engineering projects, including Civil and Structural Construction Site Development and Earth Work Road Construction.
• Profound knowledge of civil engineering tools and software such as Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel to facilitate project planning, scheduling, and decision-making.
• Proven experience in cost estimation, monitoring expenses, and implementing effective cost control measures to optimize project budgets.
• In-depth understanding and implementation of strict safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members and subcontractors.
• Problem-Solving and analytical Skills with strong Communication Skills
• Sound knowledge in Contract Management and Regulatory Compliance
