The Process Improvement IT Supervisor is a business development professional who oversees essential business systems and processes and finds ways to make them more efficient, increasing output quantity and quality, and eliminating waste. The main role of a Process Development IT Supervisor is to provide an objective assessment of how well a business operates and initiate actionable plans to refine all aspects of the business by utilizing their understanding of the business cycle, IT skills, analytical skills and critical thinking to define gaps in both staff and supporting platforms to generate a seamless and cost-effective business process.


Duties and Responsibilities
Identify relationships between systems developing a holistic understanding of how the company operates, modelling potential outcomes for system changes, restructuring the way the organization delivers its commitments from process improvement to workflows and outputs.
Establish data collection from existing procedures, outputs, metrics, and draw process maps, flow charts, and develop a baseline of how the company works and determine what processes, systems, skill sets, and IT developments are needed to refine business procedures, policies, IT infrastructure and people.
Measuring and eliminating company waste across all functions, proposing, and applying automation solutions for activities and best practices in supporting systems, staff, customer experiences, marketing channels, and business models.
Develop step-by-step action plans and timelines for each modification project, researching IT and activity techniques to incorporate into the business and training team members as the business adapts to newly established process, IT systems, policy and procedure improvements.
Planning budgets and allocating resources to get the best return on investment in systems, job functions, and initiatives, finding places where the company could limit costs without sacrificing quality.
Tracking process improvement progress, constantly gathering data to determine how well changes are contributing to the overall success and financial performance of the company and its business units.
Refining company processes that enable existing employees use their time wisely and avoid repetitive or tedious tasks by finding ways to utilize employee time efficiently, increase productivity and morale while limiting employee burnout and turnover.
Constantly monitor the business's ecosystem, identifying process or system flaws or disruptions before they generate a serious impact on the company, preventing operational delays or other challenges.
Initiate develop sustainable policies and procedures that allow the business to grow as demand increases or business expands, new operational issues can arise, the Process Improvement IT Manager provides businesses with a framework to help them adapt to growth without overwhelming their existing IT infrastructure or over staffing.
Work with management to define the short-term and long-term objectives and potential gains, policies and infrastructure, optimize or redesign process flows to meet project requirements.
