Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable AC Technician to join our team. As an AC Technician, your main responsibility will be to install, repair, and maintain air conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers' cooling systems operate efficiently and effectively, providing them with optimal comfort.

Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair various types of air conditioning systems, including central air conditioning, split systems, window units, and ductless systems.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, changing filters, lubricating motors, and checking refrigerant levels, to ensure the proper functioning of AC units.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in air conditioning systems and determine the appropriate course of action for repairs.
Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and recommend solutions to improve system performance and energy efficiency.
Collaborate with customers to understand their AC needs, provide expert advice, and suggest suitable equipment upgrades or replacements.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards while working with electrical components, refrigerant gases, and other potentially hazardous materials.
Document all service and repair activities accurately, including equipment specifications, parts used, and labor hours, for billing and record-keeping purposes.
Keep abreast of industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices related to air conditioning systems to provide the highest level of service.
Requirements:

Proven experience as an AC Technician or similar role, demonstrating competence in installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of AC systems.
Sound knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration principles, and HVAC components.
Familiarity with different AC brands and models, including their installation and maintenance requirements.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex AC system issues.
Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with clients and provide clear explanations of technical matters.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces when required.
