Description

Lead team of project manager to execute and deliver automotive development projects from inception to completion, within time, to the required quality and within budget. Communication with all stakeholders (Businesses, Commercial, Planning, Facility Management, etc.) is essential.



What you will do


To ensure that the quality of the projects has achieved the quality standards defined by the project brief resulting in receipt of the Completion Certificate.
To ensure that the progress of the project is achieved within the described timeframe keeping all team members informed of progress at all times.
To ensure that the costs of the project are maintained within the described limits of the project viability.
Ensure that the project team is accurately and timely informed about value added/buildability options for the projects execution.
Ensure that a true record of the completed project documentation is available on completion of the project.
Ensure that project participants are comprehensively evaluated as suitable for inclusion for the project’s execution and actively participate in evaluations and negotiations to achieve this objective.
Ensure that all Tender and Contract documentation is prepared in a co-ordinated manner in conjunction with the project team.
Ensure that a record of project activity is maintained for the duration of the project.
Ensure that the project team is adequately staffed with competent site staff.
Leading a team of 5-10 project managers.
Responsible for implementing strategies that team members use to achieve a goal, delegating tasks based on each member’s strengths and skills and offering the training necessary to complete certain tasks, inspiring and motivating team members with regular encouragement, keeping the enthusiasm going by providing individualized coaching when needed.


Required Skills to be successful


15 – 20 years’ experience in the construction field either from development background. Min 10 years in a position of leadership with the majority of experience gained in a multinational environment.
Experience with contractor will be a plus.
Experience in executing Automotive projects is preferred.
