Description

Shall have a Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geodesy or related subjects or International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) category
Minimum of eleven (11) years of experience, or IHO Category B or Commonwealth Navy Class 1 or an equivalent naval, military or commercial qualification acceptable with a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience, eight (8) years of which as a Hydrographer in near-shore and off-shore surveys. He shall have experience and demonstrate proficient ability in the following:
a) Radio and DGPS Positioning systems
b) Personal Computer Systems
c) Side Scan Sonar equipment and the interpretation of records
d) Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).
e) Experience with Multi-beam echo sounders and single-beam and DP system is a must.
Nationalities Preferably: Indian, Sri Lankans and Filipinos
