Description

1.Diploma Or Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying from an accredited internationally recognized institution.

2.The right candidate must have minimum 10 years experience outof which six years in Saudi is mandatory in High Rise Towers, Industrial, Residential , Commercial Buildings and Infrastructure Projects.

3.The applicants must have working knowledge in quantity taking, Cost Estimation in Civil and MEP works. (Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical) and Pricing, Rate Buildup of Materials, Labor, and other misc.

4. Knowledge of Saudi Building Code ( Saudi Arabia Construction Specification) and other International Standards.

6. Experience in AUTO CAD , MS Office and work scheduling software.

7.Able to review and measure the executed works.

8. Good knowledge in detailed shop drawing, coordination drawings.

9.Preparation of Bill of Quantity (BOQ) based on tender / IFC / Shop and As-built drawing & Specification includes all works.

10.Prepare draft tender documents to ensure all systems and components of the tenders are included.

11.Knowledge in initial review of projects, condition of contract, contract documents, specification and design drawing.

12.Preparation of tender documentation queries to consultants/clients to confirm and collect any missing data.

13.Attend technical meetings with contractor and weekly progress meeting if required by construction manager.

14.Maintenance and update of Approved Sub Contractor/Supplier database.

15.Invite the Quotation from Sub Contractor/Supplier, Negotiation and Comparison, ability to prepare pre contract & tender activity.

16.Corresponding with Consultants/Authorities regarding the specification/technical and BOQ any difference to tender requirements and raise queries for clarification.

17.Coordination with planning, procurement, finance and administration cell for necessary documents required for the submission.

18.Preparation of tender pre-qualification item, List of Sub Contractor and Supplier.

19.Ability to recognize contractual obligations of both company and its subcontractors.

20.Able to act on own initiative and proactive way.

21.Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
