We are seeking an experienced and skilled Truck Pusher to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a Truck Pusher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our oil rig activities by managing the transportation of materials and equipment. Your expertise in handling trucks and coordinating logistics will contribute to the success of our operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Manage Truck Operations: Oversee the movement of trucks and ensure efficient transportation of materials, equipment, and supplies to and from the oil rig site. Coordinate the loading and unloading of trucks to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
2. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on trucks and related equipment to ensure their safe and reliable operation. Report any issues or malfunctions promptly and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
3. Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with the logistics team to plan and schedule truck movements according to operational requirements. Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the designated locations, considering safety protocols and efficiency.
4. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment. Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks for truck operators and provide guidance on safe driving practices and proper handling of materials.
5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of truck operations, including fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance logs. Prepare reports on truck activities, incidents, and near-miss situations, and share them with the relevant stakeholders.
6. Team Leadership: Supervise and guide truck operators, providing them with clear instructions and ensuring compliance with operational procedures. Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and address any performance or behavioral issues that may arise.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Truck Pusher or in a similar role on oil rigs
• Extensive knowledge of truck operations and logistics in an oil rig environment
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices related to truck operations
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work in rotational shifts and on-call as needed
