Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Rigmove Supervisor on oil rigs
We are currently seeking experienced and highly skilled Rigmove Supervisors to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a Rigmove Supervisor, you will play a vital role in coordinating and overseeing the safe and efficient movement of drilling rigs from one location to another. Your expertise in rigmove operations and strong leadership abilities will contribute to the success of our projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Rigmove Planning: Collaborate with the rigmove team, including the drilling department, logistics personnel, and external contractors, to develop comprehensive rigmove plans. Assess the feasibility of rigmove operations, considering factors such as weather conditions, road access, and equipment requirements.
2. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during rigmove operations. Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks, emphasizing the importance of safe practices. Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate preventive measures to mitigate risks.
3. Logistics Coordination: Work closely with logistics teams to coordinate the transportation of drilling rigs, equipment, and materials. Liaise with external contractors and transportation providers to ensure timely and efficient rigmove operations. Monitor the movement of equipment, maintaining communication and addressing any issues that may arise.
4. Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of rigmove personnel, including rigmove crew members and subcontractors. Provide clear instructions, delegate tasks, and ensure effective communication throughout the rigmove process. Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance or disciplinary issues as necessary.
5. Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Oversee the inspection and maintenance of rigmove equipment, including cranes, trailers, and lifting gear. Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition and compliant with safety standards. Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities as needed.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of rigmove operations, including permits, licenses, equipment certifications, and daily progress reports. Prepare comprehensive post-rigmove reports, identifying any lessons learned and recommending process improvements for future operations.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Rigmove Supervisor on oil rigs
• Extensive knowledge of rigmove operations, including planning, logistics coordination, and safety procedures
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and rigmove plans
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry best practices
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work in rotational shifts and on-call as required
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
