Description

Architect site engineer:

- Bachelor's degree in architecture
- Minimum 8 years of experience

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Check plans and drawings to ensure all are accurate, coordinate with the design office for architectural drawing modification.
- Submit the drawing to the client representative on site .
- Modify the comments of the consultant on the drawing.
- preparation of materials submittal
- Follow the client representative for drawings and materials approval.
- Prepare and submit RFI’s for inspection and any technical clarifications
- Making sure the work performed and materials used are as specified
- Liaising with subcontractors, clients and other professional staff.
- Takeoff materials and qty’s executed for invoice preparation
- Establish, report and follow up execution works.
- Attend coordination meetings organized by client and consultants etc.
- Conduct daily briefing with site team leaders to follow-up and report on the work progress to anticipate any possible delays with regards to planned tasks.
- Coordinate with Project Manager to Take immediate corrective action to avoid any cumulative effect of such deviation and recover the delay to finish the task in due time.
- Assist Project Manager in the supervision and management of construction activities to assigned project.
- Conduct regular inspections and assess the work performance done by subcontractors related to architectural scopes.
- Evaluate and resolve any discrepancies and problems arising during construction which affect the quality of works performed.
- Attend to site Meetings with client representative to solve technical issues and other related matters.
- Asbuilt drawing preparation and submittal
- Coordinate the handing over of completed works to client and completion of the necessary rectification works.

Knowledge/Skills:

- Understanding of drawings, interface between different objects and systems.
- Possess understanding of business-critical scenarios in terms of site management and safety.
- Good team player with excellent communication skills
- knowledge in AutoCAD, knowledge in Microsoft office
