Leading Maritime company is looking to hire Deputy Project Manager :
Reporting to the PM
Responsible for the daily operations onsite
Responsible for the Marine operation department
Responsible for all external logistics activities

A) Meetings attending:
• Attending all required (planned or unplanned) or any contractor’s meetings.

B) Marine:
• Discussing all voyages schedules with the Departments.
• Set a new route or re-route for the operating islands
• Monitoring the weather, ensuring safe sailing to the vessels, and discussing the weather condition to find the best plan to ensure safe operation.
• Keep monitoring and proper communications with vessels until arriving at the destination port.

C) Logistics:
• Monitoring the cargo schedule.
• Conceiving passenger plans and discussing them with the logistics team daily.
• Supervising vessel’s loading and backloading operations on the jetties.


D) Crew:
? Direct communication with vessels masters
• Monitoring handover between crew members.
• Attending an evaluation trip with any new Captain before taking over the vessel command on behalf of PM
• Check and solve any individual's problems on board.
• Ensure proper communication between all crew members.
• Ensure proper morale for all crew.
• Communicate with the crewing team at head office.

E) Surveying:
• Set or check the new route’s waypoints before sailing to ensure safe operation.
• Draft and sea bed survey in case of any duet or complaint and report it to the .



F) Diving operation:
• arranging for the diving operations permits/coordination between the concerned parties
• Arranging with the technical department the diver feedback, then reporting to the PM.
• Direct contact with the CVH management.

J) CVH:
• Direct contact with the CVH departments (Accommodation or Restaurant).
• Provide CVH an updated crew data.



l) Speed boat operation:


• Direct contact with speed boats service provider in case of operation's needs.
• Inspect the speed boat before renting.
• Sea trials to ensure that the rental speed boat is safe and meets our safety requirements.

M) Other duties as required by the Company Project Management Team


Candidate must have maritime experience.
