We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial / Contracts Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Title: Commercial / Contracts Manager

Department: Commercial

Section: Estimation, QS, Procurement

Reporting to: MD

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manages all project commercial/ contractual activities from inception to completion.
• Work with the Estimation Department and produces estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities through a team of estimators and quantity surveyors.
• Manages and coordinates procurement, purchasing, manufacturing order, delivery and site installation.
• Acts as coordinator for the company when dealing with Clients, Sub‐contractors and Consultants.
• Maximizes company’s use of assets towards project completion.
• Manages, organizes and plans all areas related to dealings with Sub‐contractors, programming and coordination matters of the company.
• Trains subordinates on work procedures and tasks.
• Submits management reports on a monthly basis on matters relating to project tracking, procurement and progress. The reports should identify problem areas and recommend procedures to site progress.
• Attends Manager’s meetings as needed.
• Inputs feedback relating to company policy & procedure to continuously seek excellence by improving, refining & modifying procedures
• Tracking, supervision and steering of company projects through Project Managers for successful, timely completion.
• Debriefs at critical phases or benchmarks, distribute and implement improvements in future designs or continuing phases
• Handles all commercial/ contractual variations, claims and disputes with both clients and subcontractors
• Liaises with the client, client representatives and other parties on commercial issues, including the agreement of additional monies.
• Handles cost management for project/ section of works.



Job Requirements:
Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or certified cost accountant.

Experience: Commercially oriented with 8 years of professional experience as site construction manager / contracts manager / quantity surveyor specializing in interior decoration.
Should have strong experience in project costing and scheduling, preparing responses to proposals, bid preparation, and tendering techniques, contract management as well as procurement management.
Having experience in the full scope of Interior fit‐out works
Strong tender stage and post contract documentation knowledge, with knowledge of FIDIC contracts.

Others Should be highly flexible & adaptable and ability to work effectively with multicultural workforce.
Having excellent analytical skill and communication skills.
