Description

Fleet Maintenance Manager

One of the leading Waste Management and Transportation Company required Fleet Maintenance Manager.

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have minimum 5-10 years of experience in Fleet management

Relevant professional qualifications: Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering Degree

Language fluency in English and Arabic

Filipino or Indian Nationals are Preferred

Responsibilities/Key Deliverables:

• Maintaining the company vehicles (Vacuum Truck, Super Sucker Trucks, Water Tanker.. etc. ) and Heavy equipment by ensuring the reliability for the daily operations.

• Plan, schedule, and assign the work for maintenance from own Workshop or Outside Workshop.

• Monitoring the progress of repair jobs, checking quality of work performed, and resolving issues with Mechanics or workers as needed

• Ensuring that all necessary safety precautions are followed during all phases of repair, and maintenance operations.

• Review the Quotations from Outside Workshops and select the most qualified based on price, reputation, and references.

• Estimating costs for repairs, consulting with management regarding budget limits, and approving repair orders.

• Conducting audits of fleet operations to ensure that vehicles are being operated safely and efficiently.

• Managing the inventory of parts for vehicles and equipment and ordering new parts when needed

• Providing training to employees on proper maintenance procedures for machinery and equipment.
