Position: AC Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to join our Facility Management Service team. As an AC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various businesses. Our ideal candidate should have a background in central packing to adequately address the services we offer. The successful candidate will be able to efficiently diagnose and troubleshoot problems with AC units and provide effective solutions to fix them.

Responsibilities:

1. Install new air conditioning systems and ductwork.

2. Install new central packing and air conditioning systems.

3. Repair and maintain existing AC units to ensure they are running efficiently.

4. Carry out a regular maintenance routine, including cleaning filters, inspecting ductwork, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating moving parts.

5. Test AC units to ensure proper functioning and diagnose any malfunctions.

6. Make assessments to diagnose malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions to fix them.

7. Document all work performed and maintain accurate maintenance records.

8. Provide clients with clear and detailed cost estimates for AC repair, replacement, or maintenance services.

9. Ensure a safe job site by observing all company and client safety procedures.


Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent preffered.

2. Relevant technical certifications or vocational training preferred.

3. At least 2 years of experience in AC installation, maintenance, and repair.

4. Strong understanding of electrical and refrigeration systems.

5. Ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and specialized testing equipment.

6. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.

7. Physical ability to stand, kneel, and lift heavy equipment as required.
