Description

An administrator that has at least Two (2) years hands-on expertise managing multivendor database systems.

Responsibilities:

• responsible and maintaining and managing existing and upcoming databases such as but not limited to Oracle, IBM DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, MySql, Postgres.
• must lead the design, development, implementation, monitoring, maintenance and upgrade of database management system.
• shall lead the development of standards and procedures to maximize DBMS performance, scalability, resilience, security and data integrity.
• shall troubleshoot, investigate and report errors to system vendors.
• must ensure databases real-time availability and performance by improving setting proper database metrics.
• shall be responsible for backup and restoration on test environments.
• responsible to manage database growth size on regular basis.
• responsible to ensure security in granting and revokes user access.
• shall perform regular health checks for all databases with corresponding reports and maintenance plans.
• must coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure effective installation and use of all database software applications.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
- Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
- Excellent teamwork, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical documentation and verbal/written communication skills
- Must be available in Saudi Arabia.
