Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Architectural QC Engineer with a background in fit-out projects to join our team. As an Architectural QC Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of architectural elements in fit-out projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of design and construction. Your expertise in architectural detailing, materials, and industry best practices will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:

Perform quality control inspections on architectural elements during various stages of fit-out projects to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and standards.
Conduct regular site visits to assess the installation and execution of architectural features such as walls, ceilings, flooring, finishes, and other related components.
Review architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to identify any discrepancies or issues that may affect the quality or functionality of the project.
Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to address quality-related concerns and provide technical support and guidance.
Document and report non-conformances, defects, and areas of improvement, and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure timely resolution.
Conduct material inspections to ensure compliance with approved standards, and maintain a comprehensive record of material test reports and certificates.
Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols specific to fit-out projects, considering the unique requirements and challenges of architectural installations.
Participate in design and coordination meetings to contribute technical expertise and ensure that quality objectives are incorporated from the early stages of the project.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to architectural detailing, materials, and fit-out projects.
Mentor and train junior staff members, contractors, and subcontractors on architectural quality control procedures and techniques.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Quality Control Engineer or a similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on fit-out projects.
Solid understanding of architectural design principles, detailing, and construction techniques.
In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to architectural elements in fit-out projects.
Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality-related issues effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with quality control software and tools is a plus.
Professional certifications related to quality control and architectural detailing are desirable.
