Description

SR Rotating equipment engineer

(pumps, compressors, turbines, Fans & Blowers) and electric motors.

This role is responsible for understanding a variety of rotating equipment equipment’s, performing and reviewing Drawings, site inspections, site surveys & analyses, documents/requisitions, and managing budgets and tracking project schedules.

• Perform job responsibilities in all type of Rotating equipment’s for various clients
• Understands how to interpret facility schematic drawings such as PFDs, P&IDs, and Equipment Layouts parts and general drawings.
• Prepares / reviews equipment specifications
• 15+ years in rotating equipment engineering in project and engineering support in a refinery or chemical plant environment.
• Application of common API codes such as API 610/682/611/612/671/614 etc.
• Experience with mechanical seal design and selection, foundation components (sole plates, base plates, grouting), and pump/driver selection and installation
• Experience with air coolers application and selection, tank mixers, air compressors and fire water pumping systems desirable.
• Resolves specialty related mechanical engineering issues by applying accepted
• Analyzes problems and determines critical factors for investigation.
• Determines and schedules work priorities.
• Provides technical guidance to co-workers.
• Proposes staffing solutions and training and development opportunities.
