Summary:
A quality inspector monitors the quality of incoming and outgoing materials for a company. Also known as quality control inspectors, they are tasked with conducting tests, analyzing measurements, and overseeing Inspection processes.

Responsibilities And Role:
1. Reports directly to their assigned Project QC Engineer
2. Review of project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ to identify and determine quality and engineering criteria for materials, workmanship, and testing requirements
3. Perform verification inspection of work elements to assure compliance with established work procedures and Project’s specified requirements
4. Material receiving and visual inspection of metallic and nonmetallic RTR pipes fittings, flanges, gaskets, valves
5. Verification of necessary documents such as material take-off, isometric drawings and standards drawing, delivery notes, purchase order and other proper material identification and certifications sourced from approved manufacturer and comply with applicable industrial specification and conformation
6. Inspection of material storage, handling and UV protection arrangement of RTR material as per Project Spec.
7. Inspection of UG RTR GRE piping spools fabrication, installation and testing.
8. To Inspect witness of Adhesive bonded joints, Lamination joints & Mechanical key lock joints and check the Barcol Hardness test.
9. Pipe laying inspection as per survey report and drawing prior to joint preparation.
10. Preparing and maintaining various QA/QC documents and final test packages.

Knowledge:
Inspector shall demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Code such as the Uniform Plumbing Code (U PC),API, AWWA, IPC, ASME NFPA, IBC and Projects Requirements.

Skills:
Well knowledge & Handling in MS Office
Well Handling with WINDOWS-OS
Certified coursed in Auto CAD
ISO Certified

Ability:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Teamwork and collaboration
In-depth understanding of Project standards & requirements.
