Required CCTV Technician / Team Leader

Job Responsibilities as below:-

• Installation, configuration, maintenance, repair and replace security cameras (Analog and Digital), computer networks, and other equipment used in closed-circuit television systems (CCTV).
• Install and Program DVR Recording Units.
• Install cable pathway systems (cable tray, cable rack, J-hooks or D-rings).
• Dress and route cable into display and control rooms.
• Cable installation includes placement, termination, testing, labelling and documentation of horizontal, backbone and other cables.
• Firestop various types of cable penetrations.
• Evaluate signal quality and performance with computers, networks and software.
• With the availability of internet, video footage of the CCTV can be recorded and stored in the computer for future use.
• Provide a platform for the footage to be seen live as the events unveil.
• Connect the CCTV to mobile device via internet and viewers can access it from anywhere.
• Delivery of the services according to company standards and client specifications.
• These systems can be used in business and other locations.
• Perform site survey to assess customer needs and recommend system solutions if required.
• Generate system diagrams and documentation if required.
• Work with video cameras, monitors, recording devices, networking equipment and other hardware components to make sure the system installation is correct and functioning properly.
• Troubleshoot problems with the system or components, replace damaged / broken parts, diagnose software / technical issues, etc. and restore the CCTV to function properly.
• Monitoring the operation of the CCTV for malfunctions or other problems.
• Recording events on camera and storing footage in a digital format for later reference.
• Installation and maintenance of security equipment such as alarms or access control systems.
• Ensure connected computer systems are functioning properly to monitor surveillance camera feeds for activity.
• Train customers on the use of the CCTV system.
• Provide technical support and advice customers as needed.
• Provide accurate records of all installed systems to Team Leader / Project Manager as required,
• Keep up-to-date on technology developments.
• Learn the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Surveillance.
• CCTV technicians can become familiar with AI – based surveillance systems and how they work.
• CCTV systems are electrical gadgets and so the installers need the general theory and technical know-how on how they operate.
• CCTV systems are expensive and delicate gadgets, so the installers are expected to understand all the safety measures and directives when handling.
• Keep standard tool and equipment list.
• Follow company Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS) regulations at all times.
• Comply with company policies and installation procedures.

Other requirements: -

• Diploma or equivalent experience
• Work experience min. 2 years
• Experience in Saudi Arabia will be an added qualification
• Must drive & have Saudi driving license / international driving license
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Local candidates must have transferable resident identity
