Job Summary
Senior Accountant position will be primarily responsible for the execution of joint venture profit split calculations, off-ledger M&A accounting, corporate reconciliations, intercompany activity, and assigned working capital forecasts. Financial Reporting, Financial Planning, Technical Accounting, other Corporate departments, and sectors.

Responsibilities:

Should be able to handle the entire accounting activities independently up to finalisation of accounts and audit
Preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly and yearly Financial Statements
Prepare Bank Reconciliations Statements, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable periodically and report discrepancies
Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll, invoices and other accounting documents
Liaison with internal and external auditors, banks and other regulatory agencies, prepare all necessary documents and reports for auditing
Ensure all payments to suppliers, employees and other external parties are made according to company policies and procedures
Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels and ensure expenditure control
Collaborate with business partners to ensure an accurate and successful month-end close
Good Experience in Zakat and Tax
Monthly accounting close activities, including journal entries
Review monthly working capital analysis, forecast, and annual budget for assigned accounts
Liaise with international partners on intercompany accounts, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany matching
review monthly balance sheets and successfully upload results by the monthly deadline and extracts to the subsidiaries weekly
Review and verify employee expenses,
Budgeting and forecasting processes
Deal with banks and governmental bodies
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA/CPA Candidate
2+ years of accounting/finance experience (public accounting and/or industry)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications:
MS in Accounting
Experience with a large company (> $3 billion sales preferred)
Strong Microsoft Excel and Computerised Accounting skills
