PreSales Position:
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ability to provide pre-sales technical assessment. Having strong technical background within data center infrastructure technologies and strong (Pre)Sales background.
• Support sales team to win/ retain customers by providing specialized advice in solutioning, sizing and customized solution/ SLA when required.
• Prepare BOQ, proposals, cost sheet and assist in the preparation and submission of tenders.
• Provide strategic & tactical guidance to both sales teams and customers on current and proposed technical environments.
• Analyze customer existing conditions and provide critical inputs for medium and long-term planning. Support all customer related data center planning.
• Ability to propose customer with Cloud Migration and having strong technical background of computing services like: Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platforms-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
• Must have but not limited to; hands-on knowledge, able to design and plan, and support IT solutions using the following technologies (Hardware & Software):
o Computing
o Virtualization
o Operating Systems
o Storage
o Backup
o DC Migration
o Networking
o Voice
o Security
o Cloud
o Managed Services Cycle
• Experience: 5 - 8 years’ experience in Data Center consultation.
• Candidates with relevant Data Center certifications will have an added advantage.
• Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Able to join sales in customer facing calls to help gather customer technical requirements.
• Confidently advise customers on the latest product offerings with a good understanding of the supported features.
