Description

PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Sales Director is to direct and align all sales activities within the group and ensure that the company’s sales are maximized. (Also to profile and increase awareness around our company, product, or service.)

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITY
• Setting and achieving sales revenue targets. Present budget proposals to MD.
• Establishing Key Performance Indicators.
• Review and analyze current market situation, collect information about all upcoming projects and future inquiries.
• Carefully analyzing the competitor’s sales strategies.
• Ensuring that the CRM (Vendor Logistics) is being used effectively and gives a competitive advantage.
• Build network with relevant important personnel.
• Ensure that SFF receives relevant pre-qualifications and enquiries.
• Coordinate major quotations and submittal of tenders.
• Review price development and maintain tools for correct and easy pricing of inquiries.
• Perform guiding and assistance in pricing of all major inquiries.
• Make sure that system for customer satisfaction is being utilized and reports created.
• Promotion of customer focus throughout the organization.
• Supervise marketing activities, such as profile branding, arrangements, sponsorships etc.
• Ensure that sales force has the necessary skills to succeed.
• Ensure that budgets are accurate and communicated to management.
• Deliver results in terms of sales and customer relations.
• Report sales and budget updates figures to management.
• Review and collect information about current and future market situation, upcoming projects and future inquiries.
• Build and maintain network with important decision makers.
• Obtain relevant pre-qualifications and enquiries.
• Coordination of tender activities together with PD.
• Create and maintain tools for pricing of inquiries.
• Guiding and assistance in pricing of all major inquiries.
• Maintain system for customer satisfaction.
• Ensure registration and follow up of all type of absence.
AUTHORITY:
• Choose the most appropriate sales strategy.
• Pricing of all sales related activities.
• Approve travel expenses and activity of sales force.
• Submittal of tenders.
• Signing of contracts and frame agreements up to NOK 10 000 000.
