The below are the Roles and responsibilities for the material Engineer (9 Year Minimum Experience)
•. Bachelor of Architecture
• Solid Knowledge of the international standard and the general specification for discipline related.
• Gathering the data / Material properties and requirements of project materials based on project design , specifications ,standards and Client Requirements.
• Identifies, selects, and recommends materials based on each material required characteristics and prepare compliance sheets.
• Coordinate with project several departments for material parameters (Cost , Technicality , etc.)
• Evaluate the technical specification and economic factors related to design objectives
• Review and submit materials material approval requests of the prequalified manufacturers and follow up the submission status till closure.
• Check the materials samples / Mockups and authorizing for official submission of Client approval.
• Advise most efficient alternative materials
• Measures performance of various materials in accordance with specifications.
• Observes or participates in product / Material testing process as appropriate.
• When a material fails, gathers data and analyzes the reasons why the material did not meet specifications.
• Attend factory visits , supplier plants and perform inspections where required.
• Ensure the compliance of the final product is matching with standard requirements and perform quality checks
