Role Summary

Site Manager is responsible to look after multi-discipline, fast track fit out schemes. The successful candidate must have a good eye for quality and be a proactive manager capable of leading onsite teams. The Site Manager will be responsible for health and safety, program management, management of subcontractors, communication with client representatives and producing weekly progress reports.

Duties and responsibilities

• Acting as the main technical adviser for site supervisor, subcontractors, workers and other relevant stakeholders for timely resolution of any technical issue at site.
• Checking surveys executed by supervisor to site team by giving/explaining work sequence on-site based on project specific details.
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities in liaison with site team to ensure quality and deadlines fall in place as per project requirements.
• Overseeing and ensuring selection of materials used and work performed are as per specifications to maintain quality standards.
• Check/assess drawings in case any requirement of special item which may have long lead time.
• Conduct Quality assurance checks and provide reports as a part of the overall status report.
• Managing, monitoring and interpreting design documents against site supplied by the client or internal teams (Setting-out/Production/Site Team).
• Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project site.
• Providing assistance/preparing technical reports as required.
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise in liaison with PM.
• Follow-up with factory teams wherever required.
• Progress reports along with cost to be prepared on a periodic basis and to be shared with all stakeholders.
• Holding meetings with site teams on a regular basis, depending on deadlines given on the project and track the progress. Share the meeting noted with all stakeholders.

Personal qualities

We are looking for a Site Manager in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia who has the following experience, skills and personal attributes:

• The ideal candidate for the Site Manager position should have a minimum of Eight to Ten years’ experience working with reputable fit-out contracting companies
• Successful track record of working on all types of projects. e.g. Hospitality, Hotels, High End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, Education etc.
• A very good knowledge of the KSA market players and forces preferred (e.g. clients, sub-contractors and suppliers)
• Very strong technical and execution abilities with sound knowledge of the different trades involved in the fit-out industry relating to civil, MEP and finishing works
• The candidate should be presentable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in a trans-cultural environment
